Apple breakfast

Ingredients 1 Number of people

1 big apple

2 tbsp almond butter

1/2 tsp cinnamon

Directions

Chop apple in bite-size pieces and put in bowl. 

Sprinkle with cinnamon and heat in microwave for 3-4 minutes (depending how soft you want your apples). A little liquid should form on the bottom.

Stir in almond butter. And breakfast is served! 

Notes/Tips

It really doesn't sound very filling, but the almond butter does the trick! I sometimes add some roasted nuts/ seeds (almonds, hazelnuts, sunflower seeds) to give the dish a little texture. I also sometimes add a little extra liquid if I want it more creamy. E.g. water - or coconut milk if I really want it creamy ;)
