Hi X. I have it in my knees which I have had both knees replaced which my knees were bone on bone and it really was absolute agony, I don't have the pain now but I have it in my hands and I think it is starting in my spine now as I'm in agony with my spine I can't walk far still I had to fight to get to see the surgeon as my GP kept saying I was to young to have a TKR but when I saw the surgeon he was in agreement with me that I needed it doing and I'm glad I did as I don't have the pain in my knees any more but the numbness and tingling feeling I get at night is very annoying as it keeps me awake plus the arthritis pain I have in my hands now.
but I will keep going and hopefully it will get better as time heals hope this is helpful.
Yours Sincerely
Mrs Carol Thompson.

Osteoarthritis is another health problem most of us appear to pick up through the genes. My mother had bad arthritis, so did my father so it was bound to happen to me!
The bad points at the moment are in the left hand, both knees and ankles of course... All those wonderful joints we regularly use! Just recently I was also diagnosed with Osteopenia in the hip, and Osteoporosis in the spine and am due to start medication soon.
It seems the older we get, the more our joints appear to break down!
My motto is: 'Welcome to the joys of old age!'

Osteoarthritis is the most form of arthritis and it most commonly occurs in the spine, hands, hips, knees and spine.
Where does your osteoarthritis affect you? Is it just one location or several?
