I spoke to my nurse a couple of weeks ago
As i take fingolimod i asked her whats the risk of contracting coronavirus she read out the last blood test 3 months ago and apparently my lymphocyte count is just below a average healthy human being, so iam no more oat risk than a healthy person

Good morning everyone,
How are you today?
How are you managing your MS now? Is it more complicated this time of year? Have you returned to a "normal life" after these few months of lockdown? Have you noticed any flares or changes in your MS post-lockdown? Have you ben able to reschedule or resume any appointments or treatments?
Feel free to share! We are all here to help each other!
Take care,
Courtney

@Courtney_J I'm doing alright. I'm still pretty much staying at home as I'm nervous about going out with everyone and taking public transport and going to the shops. I just finished a significant flare, worse than any I've had in a while, I wonder if the stress contributed? Hope all are well.

I've not had a good experience love. Last wednesday I had a bad fall. I'd broken my hip. Not in a good situation with this virus in hospitals. Hopefully with this heat it will keep it at bay. Hope your all doing well and keeping safe and strong x

Hi susie lovely to meet you. I do hope you keep well. Noticed nice havnt approved two drugs to help people with secondary ms. One slowed the decline. The other helped with mobility. Seems people with secondary ms are left out. Good luck x

Hello everyone,
How are you holding up now that winter holidays are approaching?
Have you been able see your neurologist or other doctors? Have you thought about getting the COVID-19 vaccine if and when it becomes available to you? Do you know if MS patients will be able to get it?

Hello dear members,
While the Coronavirus epidemic concerns many across the UK (and Carenity members too), I've created this discussion to allow you to talk specifically about the virus in the context of cancer, as we all know that patients can be weakened by their treatments.
Have you had any special instructions from your doctor regarding your care? Are you going to limit your travel? Do you have any advice for others?
Take care,
Courtney
