@Maggie-mae Sonia my heart goes out to you, I to have OA in my right knee as well and I'm waiting for a referral to the hospital.
Re your comment about the oxygen while flying I'm quite au fait with it now and the Airline and the Community Respiratory Team are being very helpful and so, I am so looking forward to the holiday because I really feel in need of one so yes I will enjoy it.
Thank you once again and look after yourself.

If I could get rid of my pain I would be extremely happy. I was meant to get a hip replacement last march but I cancelled...I have no one to look after my dog. That was my excuse to them but I really don't have any faith in the hospital. My very fit hubby went in with an abcesss and ended up with ( in order). C-diff... osteomyelitis...end stage renal failure. He passed from sepsis nearly two years ago. This took five years from the abscess. I haven't slept in my bed since then and hardly ever leave my house. Have had RA for ten years and recently diagnosed with osteoporosis. My friend comes once a month to take me shopping etc, but I'm not looking forward to it like I did because of the pain. I get supermarket deliverys weekly so I don't have to go out.

@Toots306 Oh my goodness Toots, what can I say except please reconsider your decision about the surgery, I'm sure your hubby wouldn't want you to be in so much pain that you can't leave the house
No matter how much it hurts we can't use another's experience to decide what we do or have done
There are charities that can help short term to look after pet's if you have no one else to help, to be able to take your dog out for walks
Please please don't just waste away at home, you unfortunately know first hand life is very short take the opportunity to be able to live the rest of yours pain free ❤️ Sonia x

@JosephineO Hey everyone, gotta tell you this. I've invented something for extreme anxiety/stress.....very cheap to buy and gives so much relief. I managed to get a friend to get me ( for free ) a sack of broken ceramic tiles and a small hammer, from the building suppliers in town. Yes you've guessed it....I decided to make a mosaic but first I had to smash all the big pieces and talk to them as I smashed them..." you stupid sciatic thing" or " I hate you, right knee" or "go away back pain"....I could not type what I really say as it would be deleted for offensive language....ha...ha..This pile of tiles is so therapeutic and for free you can get amazing results...do try it...but be careful of your eyes and of course your backs.....go to it, smash and grab for an hour each day and soon your pile will increase so much that you'll have to order some more. Bring in a workman/woman to make you a path round the garden. Then you'll laugh again..Happy smashing everyone.

@Miranda I would choose dryness as my main problem! My eyes, mouth, ears and skin!
constant dry eye drops thrush in the mouth and constant itchy skin
