I was lost when my German Shepherd died so much so that within 10 days I had a new dog. Unfortunately due to ill health I couldn't get another big dog so I now have a Jack Russell and I love her to bits, best thing I ever did was getting another dog.

I completely agree with you. I have cats as well as dogs and they are such a comfort when I feel sore/miserable and they never complain about am extra couple of hours in bed - just happy to join in!

My dog Pasha is a mongrel, half Rhodesian Ridgeback and half Staff. He is 5 stone, and I have to admit I struggle to give him as much exercise as he needs. He loves playing chase around the car thank goodness. He is very protective and a fantastic house dog. The postmen are scared stiff he will get out, as he sits on the stairs looking out of a window, and barks as though he wants to rip their heads off.

As you can see he sleeps in my bed, I can't say I live alone, I have Pasha, 3 Guinea pigs, Ross, Joey and Chandler, and two rescued rabbits. Bart and Magenta. Keeping them fed and cleaning put cages every day keeps me going. I must be mad. Love n hugs to you all xx
