@ Hiya, yes I have a good idea I think. While my energy levels are back up I decided to clean out all the boxes of junk in my store room and found so much I'd forgotten about. It was good therapy cleaning out the "rubbish" and now I have clean boxes of craft material and put them all order. Going to recycle all of it ( I hope ), make wall hangings, wind chimes, lampshades, cut wine bottle down and make storage glasses for my pens and brushes. Just the act of clearing things you will never use again is such a good feeling. Happy recycling. G

@CraftyMc Hiya, two years ago I started writing a book to leave to my adult kids after I'm gone.....I've finished it now and read it through over and over, laugh and cry a bit. Good therapy...G

How about pressed flowers and leaves ? For those of us who have hand and finger problems it's easy. Pick some nice leaves and flower heads from the garden and press them between clean sheets of paper and put inside a book, put some other books or a weight on top and in a few weeks you will have the start of an amazing flower arrangement to keep forever. Arrange them how you feel on to nice paper and have them laminated in plastic, very cheap. They make unique gifts, cards, and pictures to hang on the wall...Use tweezers of you don't have steady hands, my hands are all gnarled and twisted...but I manage it OK.

Does anyone feel like being home more in lockdown has piqued their creativity? I know at the beginning I took it very hard and couldn't find interest in anything. But as it went along something was sparked in me and I started playing my piano again, I got back into sketching, I pulled out an old knitting project I never finished, and on and on! I won't share any picture here because I'm really no good at the latter two activites, but I'm curious to hear if others feel the same or if it's just me tinkering away at home like a mad woman? 😂

i create my own poetry in rhyme. in the past, i have had some of my poems used as lyrics for my own songs. this gives me a great del of pleasure. i have created many poems on various issues, for birthdays, Anniversaries and weddings.
I also play the piano for pleasure and prior to lockdown , i sang in choirs and musical groups. i intend to return to a couple when it is safe to do so. very often, i have taken part in concerts for various charities. my biggest success was in 2009 , when our Male voice choir sang at the Royal Albert Hall, with mixed choirs to help raise £150. 000 for Cancer research U.K
Another of my creative hobbies in making videos. it gives me a challenge, and other people pleasure to see the finished films
